Something to think about- Brenda Wood

It doesn’t seem to matter what political party is in power or who the leader is, someone doesn’t like what they are doing. Still, complaining is not our job. We are supposed to respect and pray for our leaders.
When the Sanhedrin put Paul on trial in Acts 23: 1-5, NIV, the high priest ordered someone to hit Paul on the mouth.
Paul lost his temper and retorted, “God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! You sit there to judge me according to the law, yet you yourself violate the law by commanding that I be struck!”
Others then accused Paul of insulting the high priest. He replied, “Brothers, I did not realize that he was the high priest; for it is written: ‘Do not speak evil about the ruler of your people. Do not blaspheme God or curse the ruler of your people.”
He repeats that message in 1 Timothy 2:1-5
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth. for there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:1-5, NIV)
Something to think about…
Prayer – Father, we get so frustrated with our governments, but we trust that if we pray for them, you will surely change our hearts and minds and maybe even theirs. Amen

A must....

What have I done? What have you done? Are we really serving our Lord with all our heart and soul? Are we really in love with our Lord? Has our priority changed? Has our values changed? have our focus in life changed? And if so, who made us changed it? Why can't we just accept God's will and stop making excuses, who are trying to hide from? To whom do our hearts belong to to? I must stop making excuses and start living the life that God wants me to live. We must stop making excuses and start living for God and not for ourselves.

Doing what matters

We act, we live and we survive in this world full of sin. People do stuff for a reason. We go to school for a reason, we work for a reason, we get marry for a reason, we suffer for a reason. Everyone know why they do what they do; but we as Christians, we have someone to live for, to suffer for. Life is full of troubles, trials, and suffering. The school of life is a wonderful adventure, an extraordinary experience. When we graduate, wow, what a great feeling we will have. Dear Christian friend, whether your 1 year in the Lord or 20 years in the Lord, we all face trials; they are a fact of life and the fact is, God will always have a open door. Do not worry about what the world say or do to you. Just know that you have Someone that is looking out for you and that He has your best interest. Don't you worry about thing. Have faith in God and believe in His word and promises.

Constant struggle

In life, you'll face your worst enemy; yourself. There is a constant struggle between your soul that is born again and that of your old nature. That old nature was you before God came into your life. Now you are a new person; but you got to nurture that part of yourself that is connected to God. There will be times in your life when you will feel that you can't continue like that; letting God down. God knows your limit, He knows your weakness and knows what you are capable of. God knows that you are  capable to triumph over that sin, which doesn't leave  you alone; but your view is blocking that that is good and healthy for your soul. Dont go thru life without telling God your sorry, that your sorry for being so stubborn, so childish. We all are fools for trusting ourselves, when we had the opportunity to trust Him who died for us and gave his life for us. Please understand that God wants your well being, dont let your problems and struggles block  that which...
