Spiritual battle

Spiritual armour

Part 1

God gave us the power to triumph over our enemies. Being a Christian is about gaining the upper hand in this war between good and evil; good being us and evil being the devil and his demons. We don't battle against flesh or bones but against spiritual beings which are the demons. The devil has limit power over the world. The devil has weapons that can try to manipulate us. One of those weapons is our thoughts.

As we know, what we think is what we are. Be on guard always and always be aware about your surroundings. The world is the devils playground and his backyard is the church. Satan is always looking for a weak Christian to devour. He is always at church to see who is next in line. The point of the devil being I church is to make someone fall real hard in sin, so hard, that he will never try to get up, his mind would be already made up. We need to put on the mind of Christ so that the devil and his men-eons wont take hold of our life through our thoughts. We need to be very careful of what we are thinking and very cautious so that we wont fall for the traps of Satan. The devil is losing ground and that is how he is in churches, to make Christians fall before his time is up.

Our thinking should conduct our way of living. I think there is way of having our thoughts be replaced by Christ but I don't know, I don't want to commit a heresy. One solution that I do know, is to thinking about spiritual things; like reading our bibles daily, to witness those whom have not hear the gospel of grace, to pray and seek God's approval.

In conclusion of this, as the Bible says, be of good cheer. We need to always on the look out. Be always on guard. Do not give place the devil, because that gives him more opportunities to devour you whole. The armor for this lesson is the sword which is the Bible, God's word. By reading God's word, your thoughts are being renewed and by renewing your mind, probably renews your perspective that you have on life.

Doing what matters

We act, we live and we survive in this world full of sin. People do stuff for a reason. We go to school for a reason, we work for a reason, we get marry for a reason, we suffer for a reason. Everyone know why they do what they do; but we as Christians, we have someone to live for, to suffer for. Life is full of troubles, trials, and suffering. The school of life is a wonderful adventure, an extraordinary experience. When we graduate, wow, what a great feeling we will have. Dear Christian friend, whether your 1 year in the Lord or 20 years in the Lord, we all face trials; they are a fact of life and the fact is, God will always have a open door. Do not worry about what the world say or do to you. Just know that you have Someone that is looking out for you and that He has your best interest. Don't you worry about thing. Have faith in God and believe in His word and promises.

A must....

What have I done? What have you done? Are we really serving our Lord with all our heart and soul? Are we really in love with our Lord? Has our priority changed? Has our values changed? have our focus in life changed? And if so, who made us changed it? Why can't we just accept God's will and stop making excuses, who are trying to hide from? To whom do our hearts belong to to? I must stop making excuses and start living the life that God wants me to live. We must stop making excuses and start living for God and not for ourselves.

Not good. rough draft

In biblical times one must follow the law in order to be in good standing with God ( Deuteronomy 27:26   Cursed  be   he that confirmeth not  all   the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen) James 2:10  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one  point , he is guilty of all) Nehemiah 9:26-27  Nevertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy law behind their backs, and slew thy prophets which testified against them to turn them to thee, and they wrought great provocations.  27  Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest  them  from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies. It had to be like that because sin was a problem and if it was not dealt wit...
