More than meets the eye.

There is more than meets the eye when it comes to my Pastor; he is always confident and when one is confident, one can take the whole world. The world has nothing on what one preaches, one what one lives because one's trust is in the Lord and not in one's self. As Christians, our confidence must come from us trusting in God for He can do no harm. Sin is that one that harms and will always leave a trail of destroyed lives because one can be so arrogant and prideful. 

What does it mean to be confident?  It means no relying  on self but on God's great mercy and grace; there's nothing that can back up the idea of chance. A Christian shouldn't leave anything to chance because it doesn't exist in his/her life. A Christian's life should revolve around God's will and thus confidence is made or created when we leave everything of ours on God's hand.  

When one gives the reigns  of his life to God, one is confident that God will take care of him or her. Learn to practice faith and the confidence will come.

The purpose of the sacrificial law and its ceremonies were to gratify Gods wrath because sin is an unwelcome sore, it didn't took the sin away; it just covered it like a bandage thus why the high priest goes to the holies of holies once year to present the sacrifice to appease His anger which sin provokes. That why the first coming of Jesus was so important, he came to give his perfect sinless life to appease the Lords wrath that sin provokes; once we believe on Jesus, once we put our trust in Him, once we believe that he he paid for us: we are made righteous in God's eyes through Jesus the perfect sacrifice. What reason would God have to reinstate the sacrificial law and ceremony once He starts his 1000 year reign? Jesus perfect sacrifice fulfilled  all that was necessary to get rid of sin in ones life so that one won't go to hell and pay it.

God's Faithfulness

As I was on my way to church, I had an accident on my bike; trying to make a turn but silly me, I put all of my weight on one handle bar and my bike got twisted. Thanks to God there were no cars behind me or it would've been more serious, I would've ended up in a hospital. God's faithfulness surpasses our own understanding; we are sinners and we the deserve the worst. I  should have ended up in the hospital for the sinner  I am;but by God's amazing grace I am still alive. I am alive for a very good reason and I haven't been faithful to God, but He still he wants to use us. What ever happens in your life, know that God permits it for a good reason; be it for you to grow strong in the Lord, to show you a lesson that He and only He can give you happiness and joy, and to mold you into a great master piece for the advancement of the Gospel. Words cannot express how I feel towards God, for the things He has done; even though I don't deserve it.

Have you ever thought what life would be without God? at first life wouldn't exist, we wouldn't exist. Now God not in your life is a whole different matter. Now the question is: Have ever you ever thought how your life would be without God? Your life will be dull and without meaning, you will lose focus of the things that matter to you, which are part of your life.......this is the first post since of Feb 2.... come back later....
